Software
Systems:
Why should you
think of your software as a system? Because the
ability of your software to run well is a function of
your computer's hardware configuration. You might
be looking forward to upgrading to the latest version of
your favorite software, but you may find that your
computer slows down tremendously after the installation.
Just because the package says you can run it on a
Pentium III with 128 megabytes of memory doesn't mean
you should do it. You may need additional memory,
you might need a faster processor, you may even need a
larger hard drive - by this time you're talking about
getting a whole new computer.
We can check your
system to ensure you'll be happy with the performance of
your software purchase, or perhaps save you from
spending a lot more money than you planned. |
